“I wanted to know my money would have a lasting impact when I was gone. From the very start I supported Azalea financially because I believe in fulfilling the Kingdom of God.”
— Vernon Cobb, an Azalea Legacy

We all hope to leave a legacy, a footprint behind us when we pass on. Some hope that others will remember them as someone who was truly kind, or perhaps some hope that their life inspired others to be brave, to take courage. Or perhaps some hope to treat the earth kindly, and create a brighter future for generations to come.

For 15 years, Azalea has been serving those who are downtrodden, abused, despised and living in the shadows. Women who are surviving sex trafficking, men who are purchasing sex and want to stop, and communities across the world that feel powerless to help. It is our privilege to walk with each person and see hope flourish within them.

Today, Encompass women find refuge in our centre, learn to build healthy relationships with our volunteers, experience authentic kindness from strangers who bake them cakes, and find a place they can call home. Today, Flint men find freedom from shame, and see their relationships become healthy and blossom. Communities grow in understanding of one another and become empowered to care for their neighbours and, globally, many join in the fight to see women freed everywhere.

Perhaps it can be your legacy too. A gift in your will could empower Azalea to be here for years to come, walking step by step with the women, men and communities we care for.

“Before, I felt lost, and alone. Now I have people to open up to, safety.. a family. Without Azalea, I wouldn’t be here today.”
— 'Lettie' - a guest of Encompass
